Hi!

CEO, LeaderMark (fka Jeana K Collabs)

I’m a learning and culture thought leader and innovator, and a designer at heart. Empathy, creative problem-solving, and operational excellence are personal strengths that guide my practice, and my areas of expertise are in leadership, culture, and skill development. My entire professional career has been in service of the success of others- individuals, teams, and organizations. I specialize in developing high-impact human-centered learning experiences and teams.

As a consultant, educator, coach, curriculum designer, product leader, and non-profit executive, I have delivered and helped to scale high-impact learning experiences across broad age ranges, backgrounds, and professional stages for organizations of all sizes. I understand where an organization is at in their lifecycle, gain organizational context quickly, and consider the change management required to deliver solutions from conception to market. Many young and growing organizations are not able to prioritize full-time capacity toward the professional development of their staff. I fill this pocket, helping organizations in today’s knowledge-based economy deliver high-impact learning that contributes to improved performance, retention, and staff satisfaction.

I also work with individuals to bridge personal and professional growth. You can find more about that at LeaderMark.

Beliefs that guide my work:

  • DEI work is the work: It is not separate. I integrate inclusion into everything I do and operate with an openness to the many ways that one thing can be done well. I look for blindspots in my own practice and am committed to ensuring access to the learning that helps individuals thrive.

  • I’m here for impact. This means a lot of things. First, I create, coach, and consult for quality outcomes - organizational and individual impact. Next, excellence supercedes perfection. I promote and operate with agile, continuous improvement. Also, I’m not as excited about creating another powerpoint on communication skills that you can find 30 of with a google search, than I am about working with you to find your unique edge of value for you, your team, and/or your organization wherever it’s possible. Lastly, creating is only part of the work; buy-in, change management, and adoption are the rest of it. A product is only as good as its execution.

  • Authenticity is an accelerator. I can talk about this one all day. “Being yourself” and “values-alignment” are loaded with privilege-based difference and both are about living in integrity - to who you are and your values. When you’re in alignment, you accelerate in personal and professional domains- you are empowered to be your highest, most successful, most integrated and whole authentic self. And when you’re out of alignment, you’re stuck and most likely suffering. We can remove barriers to authenticity by bridging personal and professional growth and we can remove barriers to growth by helping individuals develop and live from self-intelligence. I’m committed to staying true to my authenticity and helping others do the same.

  • Inclusion happens when we welcome new possibilities. When we are willing to think beyond “the way things are and have always been” (which might not be working anyways) and give ourselves permission to re-imagine, new possibilities emerge that offer more relevant solutions in your current reality. Time-bound experimentation and iteration can make change more bearable - it’s low stakes and gives you a chance to try things on and assess potential impact before fully committing. This is growth mindset in action.

  • Personal responsibility and co-creation are keys to culture: My leadership style is co-creative which operates on the beliefs that 1) teams members thrive on co-creative teams, while owning independent work and individual goals, because they share a stake in shared success and 2) I’m a co-learner on the journey with you.
